Grady Wagner's Profile
I’ve spent my life mastering complex systems and, more importantly, helping people
navigate them. As a proud military veteran of both the United States Navy and the
Alaska Air National Guard, my journey is built on a foundation of precision, adaptability,
and an unwavering commitment to service. For 30 years, I served as a power plant
operator, starting in the Navy Nuclear Power and finishing in Civilian Power facilities.
Add to that 4 years as a mechanic keeping massive facility conveyor systems and
Boeing 777 airplanes running safely, and you could say I know how to handle high-
stakes situations with steady confidence.
But the roles that have truly shaped my heart involve genuine, everyday connections
with people and my community. I spent about 10 years as a K-8 schoolteacher, working
closely with children to build their confidence, and 8 to 9 years as a professional driver
safely navigating people from all walks of life to their destinations. As a senior citizen
and a veteran myself, I deeply understand the unique life transitions these groups face.
I have even sought specialized real estate training to ensure I can expertly and
empathetically address the specific needs of my fellow seniors and veterans as they
make major life changes.
Beyond my professional life, I am driven by a strong commitment to giving back. I
continuously strive to be an active community volunteer, dedicating my time to local
food banks and the Grand Cinema in Tacoma. Most importantly, I have a profound heart
for animals. I have volunteered at three different animal shelters across three different
locations, and advocating for our furry companions is one of my greatest passions.
When you work with me, you aren't just getting an agent. You are getting the
meticulous attention to detail of a seasoned engineer, the supportive guidance of a
dedicated educator, and the compassionate heart of an animal lover and community
volunteer. My goal is to make your real estate journey as seamless and successful as
possible, treating you, your family, and your pets with the exact same care and
dedication I’ve brought to every chapter of my life. Welcome to Engel and Voelkers
and I look forward to working with you!
